R2 announces today it has successfully completed the installation of the SIL2 rated EMOS® Safety System at two Coogee Chemicals locations: the Elite Chemicals chlor alkali facility at the port of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia and the Kwinana Chlor Alkali chlor alkali facility in the Kwinana Industrial Area, Western Australia, Australia.
Combining high fidelity cell voltage data acquisition alongside advanced engineering and data analysis tools, EMOS® provides Coogee Chemicals unrivaled information transparency and dependability for monitoring of electrolyser processes. In addition to the basic alarm and safety functions, Coogee Chemicals will benefit from advanced electrolyser condition monitoring for qualitative insight into the operational performance of critical components. This results in a more analytical and prepared procedure for planning electrolyser maintenance.
