Montreal, QC, Canada – R2 is pleased to announce that it has received an order from Vestolit GmbH & Co. for a one year Cell Performance Report (CPR) and Consultancy Services contract.
R2’s CPR presents the true economic performance of individual electrolyser elements and their critical components (anode coating, membrane, and cathode coating) enabling Vestolit to adopt proactive selective maintenance strategies. Operating costs are reduced through detection and replacement of underperformers, as well as identifying and prolonging the lifetimes of better performing elements. The information provided by CPR also enhances asset warranty management and further benefits can be achieved using CPR to test new components or optimize other strategic projects, such as in situ reactivation of cathode coatings.
“In these difficult economic times R2’s CPR services were an obvious choice to help Vestolit improve production efficiencies and reduce operational expenditures” said Dr. Peter Fisher of Vestolit GmbH & Co.
“R2 is pleased to continue our work with Vestolit who has been a long time supported of R2 and always pushed for industrial improvements in safety and sustainability” said Gilles J. Tremblay, President of R2.
R2 specializes in the design, development and implementation of solution based analytical advanced monitoring systems (intelligent systems) for industrial process optimization.
