This international event is essential for all those engaged in managing, operating, and maintaining facilities handling chlorine.
Dr. Helmut Lademann, Managing Director of R2 Intelligent Technologies GmbH, will present: ‘How to detect short circuits and damaged membranes in Chlor-Alkali cells before powering on?’ In his sessions, Dr. Lademann will focus on different methods for detecting cells with internal or short circuits to ground or with damaged membranes, while the electrolyzer is idled or not in normal operation. This leads to the prevention of explosions or cell damage before power is switched on or the electrolyzer load increased.
