Montreal, Quebec – R2 announces that it will be supplying its proprietary technology EMOS® (Electrolyser Management & Optimization System) for the performance and condition monitoring of UHDE’s latest generation of membrane cell electrolysers that are being installed to replace an existing amalgam electrolysis plant for VESTOLIT GmbH & Co. KG at the Marl chemical park, the third largest chemical site in Germany.
EMOS®’s patented data acquisition hardware will be installed all of the new electrolysers to provide real-time process performance information to chlor-alkali operators. VESTOLIT has already been using EMOS®’s acquisition hardware as well as the complete suite of advanced monitoring and analysis software to monitor existing operations, and will leverage the existing software to optimize the production efficiency of their new operations. Upon project completion all of VESTOLIT’s chlor-alkali operations at Marl will be operating under the watchful eye of R2’s EMOS® system.
